Our team

Andy Rose
Head Coach
As Head Coach, I oversee and support our coaching team across all areas of FC Devon — from our work in local schools and community sessions to the player pathway through Hubs+ and the Academy.
My journey in football began playing for my local club, Sandhurst Town, before joining Oxford United at the age of 14. I progressed through their pathway from schoolboy level to a YTS (scholarship) and into the first-team squad, with highlights including playing at iconic grounds such as Arsenal’s Highbury Stadium.
With over 14 years of coaching experience and a UEFA B Licence Coach, I’m passionate about developing players both on and off the pitch. I work with players of all ages — from toddlers as young as two through to youth players at U18 level — and my aim is always to help each individual reach their full potential. Above all, I believe in empowering the player and building the person.

Holly Rose
Communication Manager
I am the Communications Manager for Ferdinand Collective Sparks, Hubs, and Hubs+. As both a parent and a passionate supporter of youth football, I know first-hand the highs, lows, and sacrifices that come with having children in the game. My son plays for Exeter Academy U14, and my daughter for Braunton U17G, so I truly understand the journey from the sidelines — the commitment, the challenges, and the incredible rewards of watching young players grow on and off the pitch.

Frank Rosenwald
Head of FC Rise
Frank played for Exeter City Academy from ages 14–18, represented England Schoolboys U18s, and earned a Division 1 football scholarship at Georgia State University in the U.S., where he also gained a degree in Psychology. He holds the UEFA C Licence, Level 4 S&C, and is currently working towards his UEFA B Licence. With over eight years of academy and school coaching experience, alongside his roles at FC Devon, he coaches Exeter City Academy U13s. His coaching focuses on strong relationships, attention to detail, and building positive habits, with the ambition of becoming a first-team manager within the next 10 years.

Jason Jamal
Head of Academy & Goalkeeping
Jason played at semi professional and professional academy level as a goalkeeper he turned his attention to coaching early in his career, this led to a move to Seattle, USA coaching with FC Seattle developing grassroots, academy and high school goalkeepers.
On returning to the UK he built and managed his own successful goalkeeping academy in North West London. Working closely with goalkeepers, parents, coaches, scouts at grassroots and professional academy level, his success rate of students over the years has been incredible with goalkeepers gaining academy places and pro contracts with some of Europe’s top teams.
Jason has also worked with WFC Watford U18 academy goalkeepers & with Exeter City North Devon ADC and GDC as lead GK coach, this has enabled him to further his education as a coach in a professional environment and work alongside some fantastic coaches.
